Continental breakfast is provided. You can give Susan your preferences for baked goods, juice, cereal, etc., prior to your arrival and she'll do her best to accommodate. Be sure to mention any allergies and/or dietary restrictions.

The casita will always have tea and coffee makings. Fresh fruit and healthy snacks will be provided daily. If you have special snack requests, Susan will meet them if given advance notice. If you’d like to have the casita stocked with wine or cocktail makings, that can be arranged in advance for an additional cost. Payment must be received before purchases are made. Receipts will be provided upon arrival.

There are two options for meals during the work week. Saturdays and Sundays, you’re on your own.

Option 1:  Fend For Yourself  - No Charge

We are within ten minutes of grocery stores, gourmet shops, liquor stores, and restaurants. There are a few great local restaurants nearby, along with a good deli, a few decent eateries, and a lot of chain restaurants. Delivery menus are in the guest binder in the casita. The casita is equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, and mini-fridge, along with daily snacks and bottled water. If you’d like to prepare your own lunch and dinner, you’ll have access to the main house kitchen every day before 9 PM.

If you won’t have a car during your stay, you can give Susan your grocery list and she can shop for you in advance. You’ll be all ready for your retreat! Please note that if you wish Susan to make a grocery run, the cost would be in addition to the retreat/coaching package. Payments for groceries must be received before purchases are made. Receipts will be provided.

Option B:  The Truly Pampered Author - Costs Vary

Susan can arrange for one of the area’s wonderful personal chefs to come to the house and satisfy your every culinary whim, every lunch and every dinner, all seven days. The chef will serve your meals in the casita or in the main house. Susan will coordinate your requests with the chef and you can approve the menu before arrival. The cost of this option will be in addition to other retreat costs, and can range from $40 a day and up. Please note that if you only want things like truffle butter-infused Japanese Wagyu beef and lobster-caviar frittatas, the chef might give you the side-eye. Because ... New Mexico.
